Time machine

5 years after “retiring” from playing in bands, I was asked on a very short notice to replace my old band’s current guitarrist (who broke a leg) on a Festival tonight.

It was pretty surreal to be back in a rehearsal space with these guys after all these years, but the weirdest part is that it didn’t felt strange at all; after the initial shock of being back in that room, it was like if no time had passed since the last time we did this.

Hopefully, the same will be true tonight when we step into that stage together for the first time in a long time.

A year in the life – Part IV

This was supposed to be the final installment of this series, focusing on what is probably the most important part of releasing an album: playing it live! However, the official presentation show is always a very different experience than the rest of the tour, so I’ve decided to split this in two and cover the album presentation first and then do one last part on touring.

You can read all about it here.

A year in the life, part III

The 3rd installment of my photographic series “A year in the life” is now online here. This time around it’s about the making of the video for our single Pro Procrastinator, along with same ramblings on the topic of self-promotion.
