I finally finished a Superia 400 roll I had on my Canon A1 for about a year and a half! It’s so interesting to see such a long period of time condensed into just 36 frames, it’s like a photographic “best of” version of your life.
Here are a few of my favorites from the roll, in chronological order:

Excellent stuff. Those Fuji greens are delicious. Have you loaded another roll?

They sure are! And after using real Superia 400 for the first time, I’m actually quite impressed with how close the Classic Negative film simulation is… I should’ve taken a Fuji with me so I could do some side by side shots, just for the fun of it.
And yeah, I’ve already loaded my last roll of Fuji Sensia 100, that should be enough for at least an whole year! 😁

I like your eye to capture in between, unintended moments!
It seems to be difficult to find a recipe to emulate film.
I like your faded recipe but with wb r -1 b -1 and clarity +3.
Have you planed to find a new negative classic recipe?
thank you

It will never be an exact match of course, but Classic Negative is pretty close to the overall look of Superia 400.
I don’t have any recipe planned for the future, I’ve been pretty with the ones I’ve got so far. 🙂

My challenge with film photography is remembering the dates, times, places, and feelings of the moment when I pushed the shutter.

I have no problem remembering the feelings of when I pushed the shutter, but dates and times? Forget about it! 😅
