Oh, Luis, these are great photos! It shows the city just as it is. Dirty (sort of), crowded (always), run down (very), abandoned (unfortunate, but great for photos) … yet so full of energy and LIFE! It brings back memories of our visit back in 2016 and now I’m intrigued – we should go back.
Thanks so much for sharing these photos with us. It’s always a pleasure to see the world with your eyes.
Thank you so much for the very kind words! 🙏 I fully agree with your assessment of Naples, it’s all of those things which makes it a terrific playground for any street photographer. And yeah, you should definitely go back if you have the chance, because I’m pretty sure it’s even more chaotic now than it was 10 years ago! 😁
also, for me it will be an interesting project to compare my photos from 2016 with the new ones (to see (any) progress or to see where it’s/I’m going).
PS: sorry, noticed my “wonderful and unique” username (assigned by wordpress) after I’d sent the comment, so I changed it. Hence the two different identities in the original comment and the replies. Cheers, Barnabas
This is an awesome series, Luis. Your photos really capture the raw atmosphere of Naples. 👊

Thank you Leon! The vibe there is amazing/surreal, I’m happy I could capture some of that on camera. 🙂

The Amalfi coast is beautiful (despite the crazy overtourism), definitely worth a visit!
