They say an image is worth a thousand words.
But this collection of small, thoughtful, compelling images… seems like a doorway into something much greater.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Miguel! I’m definitely a big fan of looking for the beauty in the mundane, somedays I’m too overwhelmed to see it, but other days little random things like these seem to jump out and beg to be documented.
I did use a very basic B&W recipe on me X-E1, I don’t have the camera with me right now but I think it’s using the Monochrome + Green filter, with shadows and highlights set to medium. I did some subtle tweaks in Lightroom afterwards, more specifically bumping up the contrast, adding a slight fade in the shadows and adding grain.
